Jeff:
Instead of asking where would you go, ask what would you do? Myself, from experience have applied at probably 1/3 of those companies listed. For whatever reason I marked them absent or they marked me over priced and out of their "salary range". For the record I have owned my own truck for 25 years and never had an accident or a speeding ticket. I would guess I have the attitude that I won't be kissing *** when I arrive for the interview (if there is one).

I'd look for a private carrier or mail contractor. Dedicated runs without such a tight schedule.
Might not make the same money but would be happier with less stress trying to make the numbers look good........

I selected other so I will explain. I guess it would be Ben E Keith foodservice at this point, they are the lesser of the evils around here in foodservice, I hope to be with Tankersley for many years to come, if I had to go back to freight I would try Yellow, ABF, or Southeastern.

KKtrucking,
That was such an ironic statement.
I've been going through the same exact thing word for word for the past 6 months!
It's a pretty ironic poll also to come up with.
It's exactly that, "what would you do" not "where you would go".

I felt like I was the only one still looking for a job.
Like everyone tells me, "it'll get better", well so-far nothing. I'll just say hang in there, like I've been doing.

If I had to do it all over I would stay with the private carrier.
