Default LTL Trucking Will Be Better or Worse?

Do you think LTL Trucking will improve or decline within the next 12 months.

I think that without a major improvement in the economy the pricing environment will get worse which will affect the bottom line of all companies.

With the Mexicans coming North and all the Union companys wanting to change their pension plans and the hours thingy change in the works.Things might get pretty nasty for awhile but things usually work out in the end.

Our Industry is going to get worse before it gets better.. and please note I said our INDUSTRY.. all of us.

We see the effects of the economy 6 to 9 months before the American people do. We saw this time coming last year.

I believe that the near future of the LTL industry does not look good. The economy as whole is not in good shape. Look at the housing market decline. Can't say that with the inflation in that market that it hasn't helped to feed things. Along with all the jobs that are being outsourced. It is not just the high prices of fuel. There are many issues.

I do think that in a few years the industry will come out of it's slump, though. But in the foreseeable future, it is not good.
