Lightbulb lets be real

what is the averge salary that a driver can expect to make their frist year out on the road with an over the road carrier such as jb.hunt, swift, or warner or other companies? i know they cover their butts with that "up to $XX,ooo in your frist year" but i also see that on many sites they claim to start drivers at oh lets say .39 cents a mile then when you are locked in there they say "oh but we are paying you....... .27cents mile" is there any thing you as a driver can do leaglly do about that with out comitting caerrer suiside (bad speller here) and if so what is it??

Until you get the experience you need for a good company don't expect much more than say $35,000 to $45,000.It gets better with experience. Your biggest expense will be food and drink out on the road.
