driving records

Hello everybody, i was wondering about driving records, in my younger days i had a few suspended licenses, and one drug charge that was dismissed, will that prevent me from being hired as a driver?

i belive your driving record only goes some wheere 7-10 years back so you may be ok but contact your dmv to be sure

i thought it was only 3 years..... credit score is 7 years

might be, i'm not sure. that is why i said to check with the dmv to be sure, but i do know things like dwi stay for a real long time

each and every state differs in the lenght of time the driving record goes back. my state, goes back 3 years. the state north of me, goes back 5 years.

you need to find out what your state does, so just go and get a copy, should cost peanuts compared to the opinons you'll get here. then you'll know what your state does................plain, and simple.

and, you better make sure that drug charge really was dismissed. you'll have to go to your local state's court or whatever, and make sure it was properly recorded as such. those drug charges would have most likely ended up there, not at the DMV...........

this too depends on some states. but in general, 10 years is the norm..............

especially if any bankruptcies or liens, or judgments, were ever involved.
