Default Cdl

If I get a CDL in North Carolina and then a few months later moved to California, or any other state, is it likely that I would need to re-test and get another CDL issued by the new state of residence? I've lived in 5 states and each state required getting a state issued driver's license within 90 or less days. I'm wondering if this requirement would be waived if I had a recently issued CDL from another state. Thanks.

Here in Pa You have to go thru the whole thing again. Just had a friend move here from Arizona and he had to take the drivers part of the test over again plus the Haz-Mat part. Not really sure what else he had to do.

You've confirmed my suspicions. Thanks.
