 Allow diabetics to drive commerically, union official tells DOT

WASHINGTON—In response to a Department of Transportation request for public comment, Edward Wytkind, president of the Transportation Trades Department (TTD) of the AFL-CIO on June 15 sent a letter and then issued a statement regarding the medical qualification standards that would allow diabetic drivers to operate motor vehicles in interstate commerce.
