Questions about Medical Insurance

It seems to me that an OTR driver would want Med. Insurance that could be honored all over the USA.

1. Do any of you have insurance company recommendations?

2. Given that many truck drivers change companies, is there a "group insurance" of a sort that truck drivers can buy into? that offers coverage all over the USA.

I welcome all inputs from drivers with experience with these matters.

I like Blue Cross Blue Shield they are 1 of the biggest and seem to have a nationwide network.

just like any other job you ever had..........

the benefits are supplied by the company.

if you want to pay for your own benefits, then "pony-up" nearly $5,000 per year.....for full coverage, health, vision, dental..................

otherwise, take the $40.00 per week hit out of your paycheck, which you can still use for tax purposes at the end of the year...........
