Question Looking For Suggestions Regarding Using Laptops

Howdy all,

I'm new to the trucking industry and being somewhat internet savvy, know that I'll be wanting to utilize my laptop in my rig for more then just watching movies or listening to music while out on the road, thus I've been looking for a quality 'stand' that can easily be installed. Since I'll be a 'company driver', I'm doing the best I can to stay away from those stands that require drilling into to the floor board.

I've come across a few possibilities, such as those stands offered by 'cybertrucker' and 'dieselboss', and was wondering/hoping if there is anyone out there currently using either one of these stands, or any other one for that matter, that might be able to offer up an unbiased opinion as to quality of the product and if anyone of these is actually worth purchasing.

All opinions are openly welcomed, as is any criticism as well!

Thanks,

LoneRogue

Welcome to the boards.

I can't answer your question but some time ago I saw a stand that someone had made out of pipe that attached to the seat. Seems as though he lengthened the seat mounting bolts and attached that way. No drilling and could remove it as he was in a company truck. Spent like $15 for the parts. May have been on this board or maybe someone else will chime in with more details. Keep Googling maybe you will locate something similar.
