Default finding a job after an accident

I had a great job good driving record untill two weeks ago. I took a curve to fast and rolled it over. Now I'm out of a job. Will any good company hire me or will I be stuck driving for the likes of Swift.

Depends on the nature of the accident. Was anyone hurt ? And then there's dollar value on damage. How much ?
But most companies accept up to 1 or 2 over a 3 year window. I wouldn't plan on driving at Wal-mart or Kraft or even most LTL jobs for 3 years but you are not shackled to the likes of Swift by no means.

How long have you been driving, and how bad was the accident?
If it was just a roll over, that didn't cost to much for repairs, and you say you had a good record before that.
Why would you be fired?

I work at UPS Freight ,they allow three with in a years time, unless someone was really hurt bad,or killed, and the driver was totally to blame.

Many carriers will treat a driver post accident as a "persona non grata." It will be tough to get a new carrier to take a chance on you.
Chances are you will hear dozens of rejections before you ever hear an approval.
You may have better luck at the smaller outfits rather than the larger ones. It all depends upon how desperate the company is for drivers over all.
Just be aware you will be making less money and probably be treated like crap for a while.
Best to get back in the saddle and get that accident behind you with a couple of years of safe driving.

I have been driving for 10 years. The damage was about $80k. No injuries. Company policy to terminate driver after serious preventable accident.

Try Con-way. I have seen them hire people with accidents.
