Default I need serious help

My father is a truck driver, he drives all of the US. I am not sure what company he runs for because he recently switched companies. He was on his way to Florida for Thanksgiving....no one has heard from him and he never showed up. The company he works for has not been able to contact him. I am very worried and was hoping someone out there may know who he is. His name is Theodore (Ted) Gilbert. He stays in Arkansas a lot when he is in between loads. Any information would be great.

I'm missing something here. In one line you say you aren't sure who your father works for and then in another line you say the company he works for has not been able to get in touch with him.

Has the company you think he works for said when or if he delivered his last load and where? The company can track the bill of lading on that load atleast to get a time when it was delivered and thats a good start.

The police in the area where his last load might be able to find out if your father stopped in any truck stop near where he delivered.

I'm surprised that a driver now days has no cell phone but it's possiable. Don't you even have an address to where he gets his mail at in Arkansas? He has to have a viable address for any work related information.

I would seriously get in touch with the police if you are sure your father hasn't decided to just plain walk away from his life. I know that sounds mean but it happens a lot with OTR truckers.

I hope you find him and it's good news.

What surprises me here is I just can't imagine a truck and load disappearing without it being in the national news. Not to be mean also but Seven might be right.Sounds like he wanted to get away from it all.
Pay wise OTR truckers don't make a whole lot of money and this could be the reason for his home life taking a downward spin if thats what happened. Anyway Good Luck with finding your Father. Try contacting the FBI. No kidding , because think of this he was supposed to be delivering a load to Florida which means he would have to be in Interstate trucking which makes it a federal offense if the load disappeared.

I wasn't sure the name of the company he worked for. now I know that it is Signature. Some company in Arkansas. I have been in contact with them and he never delivered his last load. He has a cell phone but no one can get through. When you call it says that the customer is unavailable.
