Default P&D vs. Line Haul vs. Hub Drivers?

Can someone please explain the difference between these 3 positions within a company? Thanks.

P&D= Pick up and delivery drivers. They are predominantly day time workers that service the immediate area making multiple pick ups and deliveries and are home each day. The pay is usually hourly.

LineHaul= Are drivers that pick up a preloaded trailer at the terminal and will drop that trailer at another terminal where that trailer will be docked and the freight will be stripped and re-allocated to other docks and trailers for the continuing journey to the final destination. These drivers are usually on a cpm (cent per mile) rate of pay and may stay out 1 to 2 days at a time before getting home again (some drivers may have a return trip to their domiciled terminal and be home daily). These jobs are usually night time runs. The local p&d's pick up during the day and the linehaulers run the freight at night to the next destination.

I am not sure about hub drivers but I beleive hub drivers are the same as linehaul.

Hub drivers are linehaul drivers that drive to another break bulk facility and unloads and reloads trailers and drives back to his/her domicile terminal
