Gooseneck is on a distinguished road
Default Hey folks, new guy here.

Well to keep it in a nutshell here, I'm thinking about going to school and getting my CDL. I've always loved to take long trips (as long as I was the one driving), and I enjoy seeing new places and different scenery. I've thought about driving off and on for years, but not really looking into it any further. Well, now I'm 29 and havent accomplished much in my working career and am ready to try this out. How "easy" is it on the body driving hours on end compared to driving a car. I know driving my Mustang will beat you up after several hours on the road, but I'm new to air ride suspension and seats. I used to be BIG into CB radios about 12 years ago as a hobby (had a Ranger 2950 set up as a base and a 29ltd in the pickup). I liked the coziness of my little room with the base setup, and I think I would like having my own cab with my radio, laptop, phone, etc while being on the road.
Does anyone here think I'm nuts or do I maybe have what it takes to be a driver ?? Thanks for any future replies.
