That is sad. I really wish everyone would pay more attention to whats going on around them. We all need to watch everything. Last year I was waiting to turn left onto my street. Thanks to my husband drilling it into my head for the last 14 years (watch everything) I am alive and walking. I kept checking my rear view mirror and noticed this car coming up fast. There was no way he was going to able to stop and he was hauling a**. He was going about 70 on a county road. I was not clear to turn so I punched the gas and went forward and hoped for the best.He was skidding behind me and I'm thankful I have a car that has some get up and go off the line. Scared the hell out me. If I did not look in my rear mirror I would have never known what hit me and probably would be dead. Along with my dog in the back.
My message is: Please, everyone watch everything around you and be careful out there.

I read somewhere (not sure where) that they seem to have a problem on that stretch of road ( Pa rt 30 ) where people (they are gonna concentrate on trucks now) are speeding all the time.The posted speed limit is 35 on that part and this guy was going about 55 they said. He is gonna go to prison for a long time. People need to learn to just slow down when it is called for even when we think it is dumb to do so.
Our prayers are with whats left of these two Families..Yes I said two because his family is gonna have to survive without him as well now. What a tragedy

Your right. 2 families are now going to have to deal with a loss. Tragic and totally preventable. But then again most accidents are. My prayers are also with these families.

That is a good point there DB and I certainly am praying for all of the people involved too. Very heart breaking story...
