The Bush administration will continue to operate a controversial, cross-border trucking program despite language in the $555 billion appropriations bill signed by President Bush yesterday aimed at eliminating the program's funding.
SignOnSanDiego.com > News > Business -- Mexican trucks to keep rolling in U.S.

Quote:
“The administration seems to believe that the law doesn't apply to them,” Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-N.D., the author of the appropriations bill amendment that sought to cut funding for the program, said in a statement.

I am not the least bit surprised that this administration is doing this. For me this is about the final straw. Apparently King George didn't get past the first paragraph in one of the 13,000 copies of the Constitution that was delivered to him. Maybe rumor is true that he can't read. The son-of-a-Bush should be impeached now.

The budget is prepared by Congress. The line item veto was never put into place so it is an all or nothing proposition.
Personally, I think he should have vetoed the whole mess. 9800 earmarks.
$10,000,000 for attorney fees for illegal immigrants. The whole thing is garbage.

Talking I hate that man

For Bush it's business as usual. They don't care about the working man and woman. I wish we could go on nationwide strike. That would get there attention wouldn't it?
