Are there any companies who will hire you with a failed random drug test?

Need more info. Were you fired from an employer for failing the random? If so, it will probably be tough. If not, go to the company you want to work for and explain the circumstances. Won't know until you ask. Sometimes local companies are more forgiving than larger corporations.

Prescription drugs prescribed by a Dr or Drugs from the street.If drugs from the street you ain't got a chance you blew it but if they are prescription drugs then you ought to be able to get your job back.Just get a dr's written letter about what drugs he prescribed and what they are for.

If you failed a random and it was for "street drugs" you should not only lose your job, you should lose your CDL.

Personally I don't want to see anyone under the influence of drugs with 80,000 lbs. under his/her control.

If it was a legal perscription, he wouldn't be asking this question, the MRO (medical review officer) would have contacted him first (by law) he would have then explained he had a script for ***** or whatever, the MRO would verify this and if it checked out a clean passed test would be sent to the company, if he couldn't explain himself is when a failed test would be reported, like space cadet said we really need more info on this one, what I said above are the rules that they go by.

There are shady companies that will hire anyone. No questions asked. They won't pay you jack, but something is better than nothing. Please, don't use recreational drugs and drive. Nothing good can come of that.
