How is it more profitable for YRC

How is it more profitable for YRC to keep overlapping terminals? to have 2 drivers go to the same location to make delveries.

If most of the companies that they own are regional then I can see where it would make more sense.

We all know we can't beleive everything on here, but there are stories of yellow under cutting roadways price to get the freight.

Yep, and they are both undercutting Holland to get the freight. At least where I am.

I've heard at Yellow in the past that Roadway and Holland were underbidding us and our sales force was told not to match them. Who really knows the truth? It sounds to me like putting some crap out there to attempt to divide us as a group......the Teamsters. The companies love to try to divide and conquer.

Why would they (YELLOW) have to undercut in the first place. All the account info is handled by corporate in the first place. It wouldn't make any business sence at all to under cut your own business. Although my thirty years in trucking I seen a lot of strange decisions made by those in charge. Who resally knows what they are up to.

STL, I know, you guys no doubt here the same rumors we do, its just "insert trucking company here" kind of thing. They should give out awards for drivers on who can start the most outlandish rumor on the CB and get people to believe it.
P.s. I just got home and i'm almost scared to see the fallout from the big broadcast on Mon. I purposely drove for 2 nights with the CB off so I wouldnt have to hear the BS before I researched the facts.

Amen Shoe. About 20 years ago a guy got hired and after about 6 months here he said that Yellow really needed to start a new Dept. called Rumor Control! We all laughed until we almost puked and it's still true today. The big broadcast wasn't all that much but some have already predicted doomsday as you might have expected. I can't believe some of the worst case scenarios that some of these guys dream up.
