Default Anyone doing daytime linehaul ??

I have a linehaul job that is good except for the schedule. It is 3 pm to 4 am. That's too late for me.

I have only found one ad for a linehaul job that ended before midnight, so far. So the daytime linehaul thing looks pretty rare.

Should I give up hope? Maybe there are daytime linehaul jobs out there that never need to get advertised in the papers, since they get filled without an ad ???

Thanks

I retired from a daytime company that hired through a temp agency. If a temp driver met their expectations, they offered a permanent job with fringes. Business is slow now, and the company did not replace me when I retired.

Zombie,
It takes years of seniority to have a daytime linehaul run. You normally can't just hire into one. Time will earn it for you.

I think it also has a little to do with where your terminal is located in the system. I think that back east things are closer together so most line drivers probably return to originating terminal after multiple stops. Is this right? Out west we have much more distance between cities so it is fairly common to have daytime runs from many terminals. At my barn we have more than 1/2 of our runs daylight runs, but we also layover at our destination and return home the next day.
