I would like to know the best wat to get from
New Hyde park NY to Elizabeth NJ. My GPS wanted to send me through the city and LiconTunnel. I woud apprciate any good directions. Boy did Friday really stink the road conditions through CT were really bad. White knucle all the way but the Mass Pike was not that bad.

Take I-495 West to I-278 West or South to Elizabeth,NJ dead ends into Rts 1 and 9 then go North to Elizabeth and when you get to the traffic circle you will be there.
