yes, you will be "set up" sooner than you think. your current employer will not take the fall for anything you wrote down (falsified to them) on your application.
i would start looking for another job and quick, then leave, no 2 weeks notice either, but that's what I WOULD DO.
then in the future, come "clean" on your applications. you already have witnessed what WILL HAPPEN first hand.
you can even be fined, and/or jailed for falisifying the application, and in most instances, it DOES SAY THAT on applications.....you basically signed a "federal document", much like when you sign your logbook, that too is a federal document.........you have "attested" that EVERYTHING YOU SAY IS THE TRUTH.....when you sign on the dotted line.
