 College for Truckers gets a 10-4

Jul. 17--Truck drivers across the country now have the opportunity to earn a college degree as they crisscross the nation's highways.
Officials with TransMarkets Technologies, a local trucking software company, and Chattanooga State Technical Community College today will announce the creation of In-Cab University, which they describe as the first and only accredited college education program for truck drivers.
Craig Fuller, chief executive officer of TransMarkets, said truck drivers enrolled in the program can take online classes ranging from business to criminal justice from laptop computers.
Major trucking companies like U.S. Xpress Enterprises and Covenant Transport already have agreed to offer the program to their drivers, he said
