Default STOP THE MADNESS. Don't buy fuel for 3 days

If as a WHOLE nation Everyone stoped just for 3 days buying fuel of all kinds the Oil Co. would have to do something.

Boycott Shell, one day, Chevron, the next and Exxon the next, But it would take EVERYONE, not just the truck driver, Hell it cost me $90.00 just the other day to fill my diesel pickup and I had a 1/4 of a tank to start with, at $4.10 a gal We can't make it much longer. Something needs to be done NOW!! Tax day would be a great day to start. April the 15th. the day that the goverment gets into everyones shorts as it is.. Say we get into thiers now make them open thier eyes and do someting for the USA..

Great idea. Boycott Exxon Mobil forever. The O/O's have the wrong idea. A strike will eliminate them ,not help them. The O/O's could lower diesel prices by themselves by using the boycott method properly. One oil company at a time. Also ,you would think the big trucking outfits that buy fuel on the road would do some boycotting to lower fuel prices, but they probably wouldn't mind seeing the O/O's go by the wayside like the government is trying to do as we speak. Did someone say Mexican trucks? Follow the money.

I'm telling you it would only take 3 days.. If EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE. stopped buying fuel from each one 1 day at a time it would force them into lower the prices. This is Total Madness. uncalled for.

To make a boycott, strike or whatever you want to call it effective you need to overload their system. For example, if enough trucks shutdown (no idling either), for a few days, the oil companies would be flooded w/diesel and have no where to store it. That is the key.

Oil companies don't make diesel/gas, refineries do.

If you don't buy fuel for 3 days everyone will be on empty on the fourth day, so nothing will change. How would you expect this to work?

Very true ! The only way is to CONSERVE ! That means SLOW DOWN, don't idle and plan each and every route with the cost of operation in mind.
Still see those big trucks flying down the road every day !
