Default Swift Transportation

I was just wondering as to what people might know about Swift Transportations overall reputation and as to how they tend to treat their drivers.

I used to work for them and I have had a lot of bad experiences with them and I am wondering as to what other peoples knowledge of the company is and as to what their experiences have been with the company.

Any information that people can give me would be both appreciated and helpful about the company and as to how they tend to treat their drivers.

I read that 75 percent of their new drivers quit in the first 6 months. I guess that they got to keep hiring super clean people.

I did not know that about the new drivers.

Do you have any idea as to why they quit and as to how Swift tends to treat experienced drivers that come in to the company?

I am just wondering because I am an experienced driver and I basically got treated like crap by them and I am trying to overcome all of their lies and B.S that they are trying to pull on me.

That's a good question, since I'm not a truck driver, that should be a question every truck driver asked themselves.

However, according to statistics, the turn over rate is hovering around 75 percent for new drivers.

Just to give you an idea, I was reading on another message board how one person was brought into a class of 200 people. By the time that person had reached the stage to go out with a trainer, that person had only 40 people in his class.

That's a serious problem that seems to be ignored in the trucking industry.
