Boycott Shell Oil

I'm in the service industry where we drive big box trucks throughout a major city in the US. We have really felt the impact of high gas and diesel prices. My uncle owns a trucking company out of NYC, and he barely made it when it was half the price it is now.

BoycottShellOil.com is a project started to help drive gas prices down by putting one company out of business for the massive price gouging they propagate. Stop buying Shell products, and lets take the stand our government refuses to take for us.

Please help promote this project.

wow someong with a new ideal.how many people are going to do this??? just think off all the people working for shell that lost the job yesterday over in england and in the u.s.a.coz they are moveing there Finance dept to inda and giveing the boot to the ones that dont want to go!!! so thanks shell for helping out when you can to save money and rise the gas and oil

yeah, man. its ridiculous. these gas prices cause everything to go up. its about 4.50 for diesel where i live. they are going to bankrupt this country.

The problem is that people have been pushing for a couple years now to boycott the biggest and worst of them all Exxon/Mobil and it has not worked. Exxon/Mobil is the one that is really responsible for the high fuel prices and you always want to hurt the biggest one so you don't put a smaller company out of business because that would be counter productive. I have not purchased anything from Exxon/Mobil for more than two years now and don't intend on starting now.

one thing i dont understand about small companys why dont they make there own fuel out of used cooking oil??

Ever since the internet became popular we have had people coming on to the sites and spouting that XYZ company is putting them out of work by price gouging the gas/oil prices. If you do a little checking you will normally find out the the poster is working for ABC company and all they are trying to do is promote their company by putting another company down.

It might surprise you to know that most oil companies only make about 8 cents per gallon on the finished product. The big problem is taxes and middlemen.

Then again what would I know ---I'm just a dumb O/O
