Light at End of the Tunnel

The only light at the end of the tunnel is knowing that regardless of the crazy fuel costs and company closeings, is that everything depends on pickup and delivery. The goods will get transported and trucks will be the major way to do it. Rail and trucks are the life breath of every town and city regarless of cost. Be it the goverment, or local and state. The store shelves would be bare in two weeks with out you the trucker. That is a fact. Even though much suffering is takeing place in lost jobs and homes and ever rizeing prices. The need for 18 wheels rolling across the land can never be priced out because in the end the filter down effect would destroy our very being. ..So the only light at the end of the tunnel is that even though too late for many after looseing their rigs and jobs is that TO survive The goods will have to be hauled period. even if the cost is high. Many Many will have to bow out. But the need for the goods will never go away or we all starve. Maybe just maybe this will finally be the forced wake up call for the fat cats that over the years let it reach this point. Goood luck to you all and know that you have fed and clothed millions of people for every mile you turned and every night and day you rolled across the highways. We truckers kept America alive, and for America to remain alive and well they need each and everyone of you.
