Need a competitve freight forwarder / trucking company

I am looking for some recommendations on a good freight forwarder / trucking company that is competitive on fill loads and LTL Shipments.

I ship all over the country but mostly I am shipping from West Coast (SoCal) to East Coast (North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York), and from SoCal to San Francisco Bay area.

Any recommendations or if you know if a good small business that is competitive and reliable ... pleae let me know.
