So as of 18:15 yesterday I was in violation for 3.25 hours. but as of midnight I earned 11.5 back to work today?
Will I have to deduct the overage from the 11.5?
thanks again

oh yeah, no i haven't moved at all since lastnight and by my qualcomm it looks as if i have until 23:59 edt to get the load delivered |
Yes you'd have to deduct the overage from
11.5. The approach most guys would use, is that a violation is a violation. One you would definitely get nailed on the other you might not. Most OTR companies "MISS" those things unless the paperwork is staring them in the face. Most drivers would rewrite their log, the way I mentioned in the last post and hope safety misses it, if you have a QC. Normally my understanding is most do, unless you fueled. They sometimes match your tolls also, though not usually.
The main thing is BE VERY CAREFUL FOR THE NEXT 7 DAYS. IF YOU WERE TO HAVE AN ACCIDENT, THIS WOULD BE USED AS GROUNDS FOR A LAWSUIT.
