Post Schneider Homerun account

Hey, Got a question. Hopefully you guys can help me... I leave for training in greenbay in june with schneider. Im signed onto the homerun account. Does any one know if they actually give you your week off, or is it just runaround BS. Also they say the training is 14 days, and 7 days on the road w/ the instructor, am I getting mislead or is that the correct info? Heard a lot of the recruiters will tell you anything to get you signed on, so just making sure im not getting mislead.
-Thanks James

Hawkeyeharley will become famous soon enough
Default Schnieder homerun program

I started out as a pumpkin driver and went to the Green Bay Training center. The training is really great there and the people are fantastic. But I reserve that only to the Green Bay area. I was put in Detroit OC after training and they run things horrible. For training you'll be there ten days and send you home on Friday afternoon for the weekend off. If your STL didn't tell you Friday when to report then a trainer will contact you on Monday or Tuesday for a time to meet up and do the last part of training. Expect another 2 week training period then some time off to get your CDL test complete. As the home run program goes, you split seat with two other drivers in your area, so get use to taking all your stuff out and reinstalling it. You are out 14 days then home for 4 days. If they told you a week it was a blatant lie. After your 4 days you'll get a different truck and repeat till you scream at your STL to take you off the home run program. You'll probably go through Gary OC which runs good and has lots of home nightly/ home weekly routes. Don't do home run cause your stuck for 6 months. Also check out pumpkindriver.com for Schneider info. Get your year or two in and go someplace else.
