i was able to get a comapny off my DAC.
this was a company I NEVER WORKED FOR, i was supposed to go to work for an owner-operator....here's what happened.
the owner-operator sent me for a physical and drug screening..
i was supposed to only go on a "ride-along" to see if i would even like the job.
i hated the job, i hated the owner-operator, i hated his trucks....
needless to say, i never accepted the job.....I NEVER GOT PAID a blessed cent from the O-O or the company he was leased on with.....
but get this.....
that company said that since i took the drug screen and physical, I WAS AN EMPLOYEE of the company....!!
i said, well then, where's my money...?? you haven't paid me anything, neither has the O-O.........
they said it wasn't thier problem.....that as long as i took the drug screen and physical, i was considered an employee....
now mind you, this showed up on my DAC, and i never knew it. when i went to fill out applications, the new company would do a DAC on me, and found this "non-employer" on my file......and since i didn't include them in any application, it looked like i was hiding something.....
well i'll tell you what, i would call that company once, twice, three times weekly....
they finally removed my name from the DAC files......!!!!!!!
i haunted them..........and i won........
i haven't gotten my phone bill yet, but i'm sure its going to be a "whopper".......
but i didn't give up, and i didn't give in........
many of you know me from these boards to be a "cube-breaker" from time to time......
sometimes.........that pays off..........!!!
