Default Driver Solutions school in Indy

Seriously considering going there to get my cdl/training and going with PAM or USA. I'm single, no kids and I don't mind 80+ hours a week if I have to to get things going. I've seen several complaints about schools like these but I've also seen people talk about getting thru the 1st year with companies like PAM. I don't have the means to go to a 'community college' like I've heard people talking about so might this be the best option for me?

Any advice? Thanks.

Hey SMM,

I don't know anything about the school in indy but I do know that a lot of companies are holding back on hiring new drivers at the moment.

I personally would look into a company that provides the school 100%. I am a trainer at CRST so I know their program, however there are other companies that do this.

I think that CRST offers a fair deal to new drivers, others disagree. A lot of it depends on your attitude and whether or not you get a good trainer after you complete the school.

Some schools require you to pay the tuition and will gladly finance you, then tell you that when you get a job the company will give you tuition reimbursement, this is usually peanuts to what you will pay for the school.
