Cheers al kiwiray | WELCOME to Truckingboards (al) kiwiray!!
I understand in Australia, the drivers pull up to 3 or more Trailers and have competitions like the most trailers hooked up to a single tractor. Do You all in NZ do the same??
I got this info from a site called www. Outback Towing (something) dot com.

| | Thanks for the replies
Hi there people, thank you for your replies. yes we call them trucks down here in NZ, as soon as I can work out how to put pictures on here I will sho you some rigs I have driven.
My 2nd eldest son has just been given a Brand new Frieghtliner Argosy to drive, it has a C16, 550 cat & 18 speed R/Ranger & pulls a 6 axle B Train curtain sider all over NZ, my last rig was an Nissan 4 axle truck 450 hp with an 18 speed R/R pulling a 4 axle trailer curtain sider, I also went all over the country.
We dont have such long wheelbase tracter units out here because of length restrictions & our max all up weight is 45 tons, but they are allowing some up to 50 tons at present on trial. Yes we have a lesbo PM but not for much longer thank god,it looks like her & the rest of her shirt lifter mates are going to get the hump from Government, trouble is they just get replaced my more fruit cakes & wankers, I am coming up 63 yrs young, what would my chances be of getting a job driving over there in the USA, perhaps my son & I could team up ? gets bloody tempting looking at all those neat rigs you have over there, only thing I don't fancy is those lil 9 & 10 speed gear boxes you all got, I like stirring a full bowl of porridge like 18 speeds LOL.
Cheers & Beers Kiwiray.

Here how I post pics on this site. Open an account with a photo sharing site, I use Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket. Once you have your pics there you copy the link and then click the square yellow box with the sun and mountain icon, a box will appear, paste the link there, click ok and then post it. This is an easy forum to post pics on.
