Default What is worse.. East or West..

YouTube - Tire chains in Oregon

YouTube - Winter fun in Pennsylvania

So what is worse.. The East or the West..

I ran chains once from (every flatbedders favorite) Gypsum, Co to the bottom of Vail pass. I did not think it was that bad. I only had 1 year under my belt so maybe I was cocky.

I run I80 in Pa every day now and I think it is worse. When you get under 15 degrees the road is ice, you still have heavy traffic, and PENN DOT does nothing with it. (You also have NJ garbage cans) I cannot wait to get off I80 onto a bad 2 lane to get away from all the traffic.

I fell I can control my truck. That is why I prefer deserted 2 lanes and chains in Co, over I80 or I90 in Pa. In all my travels, I have never seen worse wrecks than the Keystone.

I like this dudes videos so what do you think???

Jewelry is meant to be hung around a ladies neck not put on a big truck.

Carried chains for 30 years and have never installed them (never fell off the road either)

LTL drivers normally don't have a choice. If the road is open, you go.

LTL drivers DO have a choice. I choose to throw that "t" key into the woods and look for a hotel. Things always look better in the morning especially if the hotel has one of those make your own waffle thingies!!
