Default Trucking School Research

I've got a few general questions for any knowledgeable truck driver. How good does your driving record need to be, and how far do the trucking companies go back? My drivin record is clear and have only had2 speeding tickets and a careless driving ticket in the past 3 years, none of which are on my record now Next, how reputable is MTS and PTDS, and what don't they tell you? Finally, what are the chances of getting hired by the better companies after truck driving school?

The Careless driving ticket will hurt you more than the speeding tickets. MTS or PTDS A school is a school, to me as long as they teach you what you need to know that's all that matters. Personally I would call Schiender and enroll in thier school. There is no out of pocket expenses, all you have to do is commit to 1 year of employment with them. And what is your idea of a better company? As a Novice you probably think that the BIG companies are the BETTER companies. You search this board and you'll know better.

Quite a few Trucking Companies are relaxing their requirements regarding ones driving record.
I've seen ads stating no more than 3 speeding type tickets, no more than 3 points, no more than 2 or 3 preventable Accidents in a certain time frame.

Schneider does have a good school and training.
They have a rather extensive New Driver Orientation and for some people that isn't even enough.
I've only heard good things about Schneider and you can find out more here:
