Truck drivin' interest

Hey, I've been on here for a while, but haven't posted in a long time. My time in the military is running out and I am going through my options, and trucking still seems like a good job, can anyone here offer and insight for me?

Flip hamburgers at McDonalds pays more then a lot of these companies out here are paying and you have more respect.

Maybe sew, but the view at mcpukes is the same every day, the food is the same (like t. a., petro, flyin' joke) and that wunerful aroma out back at the Dumpster is reminiscent of most Truck Slops.

It's all in what you like. I am just saying making money in trucking seems to be a thing of the past, with no respect at all.

I have done ok with trucking,havent done long haul.Only worked in the city,then out to the oil patch for almost 3 years now driving for someone else earning a comfortable living and home every night,and Im now in a position that Im buying my own truck.I guess it depends on what kind of trucking you want to do.
