martinguzmaniii is on a distinguished road
Default Help-Small New Trucking Co.

Afternoon Drivers,

I have one truck and am about to purchase another truck.

Short and sweet I've decided to cancel my lease and start own trucking company. However I am struggling with a name for my trucking company. $100 AMEX GIFT CARD REWARD to someone that can come up with an original and good trucking company name.

My name is Martin Guzman, but Martin Guzman Trucking just sounds to uprofessional and bland.

Let me here some ideas guys.

Good Luck and Thanks Brothers,
Martin Guzman

Use my old company name, I haven't used it since 1983. It worked for me while I had it. People seemed to related to it.

i don't know how true this is, but i once read in a book written by a former owner operator that an "even" number of trucks doesn't work out. meaning, you will be having 2 trucks on the road. that writer said something like an "odd" number of trucks works best. something about the "odd" number carries the expenses better, or something like that..??

anyway, for a name, use "logistics" in the name, like, "Martin's Logistics" or "Country Wide Logistics" , or Marman's Logistic's". try to incorporate parts of your name, if you can... try to stay away from a name that's 100% your name, for future growth, and posible partnerships.

the "logistics" lends to a more professional attitude.........
