Default Getting closer.

I'm getting closer to being 21(Sept 3rd). My question is, are there any companies that would be willing to take someone on for training that isn't quite of age yet but will be in about 9 weeks?

I've heard that Stevens Transport has good training. Are there others? I can wait until I actually turn 21 but a head start would be nice.

Sorry I am not aware of any OTR companies that accept drivers under the age of 21. Perhaps an intra state company would be willing to put you on at an earlier age.

Otherwise just wait until your 21, go through the school training and then there will be some doors open to you.

check and see how long any school trains for. you might just be able to attend now and then get your license "just after" you turn 21.....

no company will hire you under 21, at least not OTR. you might be able to get a local job however, as long as you do not cross state lines.

don't be in too much of a rush to get your license. the job market is tight, and more experienced drivers are looking for jobs right now. with your lack of experience, a more seasoned driver will get the job first.
