Default Driving Record Question

When companies look at your driving record are they able to see violations that you received probation for? The ones that are not on your public record

That probably varies from state to state but I would venture to guess they can find out every little thing you have done , via the net these days!!

be honest about what they ask for. Most applications want accident/ticket records for 5 years so I would be honest about those 5 years. If the app. says they want 10 yrs. then be honest about 10. you get the point! If they find it out after the hiring they will most likely fire you for deception anyway! Good luck to you!

You can also send for your DAC report. Look them up the company is now called USIS. Fill out the form and its free once a year. They also have a check box for state driving records, and quite a few other dealyies they keep track of. And you can get a copy for free.I think companies will look back 3 years and five years. But it might be what there insurance carrier wants and does. I could not believe one of my insurance companies had the date I got my first license in high school. That was in 1971, & that is some record keeping. Don't let it stop you keep looking. Good luck
And one more thing, I would like to know what if any code words and verbage employers use to fill out dac reports? I was told the employers get some credit for there account when they report you for some violations.
