Default There a site or place I can look for local trucking compaines?

I'm trying to find local trucking companies in my city Fort Worth, TX. yes I know about the phone, book, but I'm also wondering if there is a site that lists local trucking companies in my city, any help would be great

Offhand, I can't think of a location that would just list local companies. You could always go to an industrial park and just watch for trucks without sleepers. :)

Talk to people you know, or your family knows. I'm starting at a local co doing steel flatbedding on Monday. Talked to one of my moms coworkers, who's husband's parents own a steel warehouse, the do their own runs, so I'll be doing local runs. They're going to help me get my CDL, I already got my permit.

Anyway, just talk to people, you never know what may happen.
