Default My 12 volt cooler sucks!

My Coleman cooler has never kept things cold enough.
Can anyone recommend a better one?

Question

These Coolers are basically $20.00 Motors (by '01 prices).
It could just be that of above, of a faulty Motor.
Is your Cooler of the Heat/Cool type??
I've discovered that one OR the other type Cooler is best.

Constantly buying bags of Ice is an extreme hassle for the non Motored units.

How cold is cold for you?
What model number Coleman do you speak of?
Do you have a website link?
Have you tried using freezable Ice Packs?

Most inexpensive 12v carry type coolers cool 35°-40° degrees below the Ambient temperature. KEYWORD: Ambient.

Unless you go all out and get a thermostatically controlled cooler that provides a constant 40° to 0° F. regardless of ambient temperature.
