Default question on internet connection while on the road

i bought a USB wireless WiFi for my laptop from at&t for $60 a month and i don't seem to be able to get connection while on the road, it has difficulty connecting and if does it loses the connection fast.any thoughts as to what is a better product to purchase?
my main use is to have connection while driving.

WHY HAVE A CONNECTION WHILE DRIVING??
AREN'T THESE ROADS UNSAFE ENOUGH WITH ALL THE PEOPLE TALKING ON THEIR cell phones WHILE DRIVING THEIR VEHICLES YET YOU WANT TO DRIVE A 40 TON MISSLE WHILE CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET??

How does this then promote SAFETY as you ended your post with: stay safe on the road??
Having a connection for a computer WHILE DRIVING is about as SAFE as typing on a QualComm unit WHILE DRIVING.
Neither action promotes SAFETY!!

You are an unsafe and irresponsible individual that doesn't need a connected to the Internet computer for driving down the road.

Use your computer when YOU ARE PARKED, therefore you're then SAFER for the rest of the motoring public!!
Same applies to your QualComm (if you have one) AND your cell phone.

i am not looking to surf the internet while driving, i am looking to listen to certain radio stations while driving, i have been a trucker for over 30 years, i know a little something about this business.

if anyone has any advice on a good internet service provider that has stable connection through out the united states please let me know, thanks.

and i appreciate your concern and agree with you, it was my mistake for not being clear.

They all got spotty service. Just like the phones, the coverage is about the same. Also, keep in mind that terrian can effect the signal. If your rolling down the hiway, you most likely will encounter losses in service. My AT&T phone gets spotty service while I'm driving. So none the services will be 100%.
