WOW! I just signed on my truck with Schneider and have spent the last 3 weeks picking my own freight and getting home every 3-6 days! AND at and average of $1.70/mile. I left a competitor of theirs where I had to negotiate everything with a broker. This is much better. I live in the central-Ohio area and have more freight options than I know what to do with. I was at a TA yesterday and spoke with another guy on this program who said he was going to gross $200K+ in 2008. Why is everyone not on this program?
That is me laughing at everyone else not doing this. Suckers!

i don't think so cerberus. i finally feel like i am running my own business - no one telling me where to go. if i have a trailer issue, the hold time is a little longer than i would like but still will net (before taxes) ~ $85K this year. i got dollars to doughnuts that says you can't beat that - not even LTL!

what is the point of doing this then? the game is about money, a lifestyle, security, private schools v. public (for my kids), a new car, a nicer house etc...

Everything you mentioned is an Illusion of Security, Privacy, etc., and can be removed in an instant. This isn't a threat. It is just a fact.
Competition is a way to increase ones Stress Levels.
One person says to another:"I've more money than you". The other says:"Yes you do but I have more Friends and Friends are worth more than money".
Which do you prefer?
