Question diesel fuel choices

I'm new to trucking. I've found a ton of useful info here. With a 2007 Freightliner, will the low sulphur fuels do any damage? Do I need to use an additive with it? Thanks

if you are new to trucking as you say, you don't have to worry about that personally.......any additives for the fuel will be in the ground tanks mixed with the fuel. all you would want to do is ask the shop mechanics and hear what they have to say....which they will basically say what i just did...or go to the pumps which DO NOT have low sulphur, for the time being......

for the average driver, just "gas and go".........

I think the ULTRA LOW stuff is for 07 and newer but it may only affect it if there is a REGENERATION system that burns all the soot out and reburns unburned fuel that the system passed up! If you don't have this system I would do what pro1 said!
