I've heard of a good buddy. Is your dealer one of "those" type of dealers?

"good buddy", thats funny. He's probably talking about the wheel/rim on the truck. Bud wheels. I think thats what they are called. Basically there is no seperate spacer between the tires, Its built into each wheel and they butt up against each other when the lugs are tightened up. I'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong. Or maybe he REALLY IS a good buddy, who knows. As far as "caps" go it might be hubcaps or maybe "recap" tires which isnt necessarily doing you a big favor.

I think what he is referring to are the chrome covers on the wheels.

Caps = The chrome hub covers in the center of the wheel.

Buddies = The chrome lug-nut covers.

you are buying a NEW truck....?? and the hub caps are being "thrown in"...??

as well as the whell lug nut covers..??

with the amount of money you are spending for a new truck, and since new truck sales are DOWN due to the price of fuel AND the economy, they ought to "throw-in" some goodies.....

did you ask them if after the sale you got to tow the truck to the nearest diesel fuel island, or are they "throwing in" some fuel to get you there...???
