Newbies with no experience usually seem to be pretty much limited to what drivers like you might consider 'bottom feeders', C.F.

There don't seem to be many ROEHL or ex-ROEHL drivers on this site, but I found a sister site [Truckers' Trucking Forum] I don't like as well as this one, that has lots of them. In spite of the negative comments of some there, my research suggests ROEHL may be a couple of steps above most of these others. This, plus the opinion of a friend who is an experienced trucker, and proximity are leaning me toward them over the others.

For your location it's probably good, for the most part you can't go wrong working for a company that has built their business in your back yard as long as you like the industry (flatbed). Alot of times drivers go to work for company's that don't have any terminals in their area and they can't hardly get home.
