Some outfits are strict about this while others are not.
I know a driver who got on as a parollee.
If said driver gave dispatcher any guff one call to his
parole officer would put him right back in the slammer.
Our dispatcher loved him cause he knew he had a
driver who was under his thumb 24/7/365 .
