Default New DOT physical requirements??

I've been hearing rumours from several drivers about upcoming
DOT physical changes during the coming year.
I've heard a coupla stories....

A.) Drivers will have to perform an extensive regimine of
excercises beyond the usuall lifting a box full of weights.
(i.e.; push-ups, sit-ups, leg twists, etc.).

B.) Drivers will hafta meet standardized height & weight tables
(no more 5'8" 300 lb. truck drivers!) .

C.) Blood pressure stats will go from 140/90 to 120/90.

D.) Blood sugar levels to be more closely watched.

Again, these are just rumours I've been hearing.
Does anyone have the REAL scoop on this stuff
and if/when it will be implemented????

i hope this doesnt come about ,im trying to get my blood pressure down now.i was give the wrong blood pressure med last month now i just got a new blood pressure med yesterday because my blood pressure went up to 190/88 cant drive like that . i go back on the 15 to see doctor again with loseing some weight and exerciseing i hope to get it under control but the government if they were to raise the reqirements to what you were saying it would put most drivers out of a job. one thing i was told by doctor id like to pass on to every body is my doctor said those blood pressure monitors that you can buy at places like walmart arent any good they wont give you a truce reading he said also the ones where you sit down in the chair at walmart and some groscery store arent any good eather he said ,.

I take pills for my BP, too.
It used to be 180/100 or so.
I take a coupla different meds and they bring my
BP down to 134/80 or so.
I can't get it any lower than that.
If they drop the regs to 120/90 I'm $@&%ed.
Same goes for my height & weight.
With all the pot bellied, fat arsed truck drivers out there
better than half of them would be out of a job.
I think they're trying to get more of these skinny little
half starved foreigners over here to drive truck for
a nickel a mile.

That's exactly what it's all about.....Mexican trucks and lowered wages.

With the size of some drivers if they ask them to even get down on the floor to attempt 1 push up, game over.
