i asked about remors from drivers about blood pressure saying may be next year drivers may haft to have 120/90 to pass dot physical . i got was a reply saying what it is now they just copy from the web site what it is now and said they hoped that answered my question. i dont think they even looked at the question . there email pissed me off . i thought there subpose to be there for us truckers .it was a insult .i dont think ill be joining them if i get back on the road. a simple question i asked of them , i guess there to busy to answer a truck drivers simple question.

something to look at is this, if you're not a memeber, they might not help you as to your specifications. something else, is that maybe they only have what information they have, and no more.

i am a memeber, and later today i will email them and see what i come up with. if i get better info than you, then that pretty much confirms that if you ain't no memeber, they ain't gonna waste too much time on you.

think of it as the AAA auto club.....you break down, you have thier number because you recieved the information packet in the mail....but you never joined them.....now you need thier help........got it...?? no membership, no help.......

of course i COULD BE wrong...........BUT...........

i just emailed them moments ago...but it IS after all, 6 AM (my time). i highly doubt i'd get an answer quick....

my email basically asked what the new 'proposed" requirements will be.

they might not be too busy to answer you, but think of it this way, they got over.........161,000 members.......don't you think "members" questions SHOULD be answered before non-members...????

like i said, i MIGHT get the same email you got....and if i do, i'll paste it here.....and if its THE SAME as you got......i hope you'll be happier, knowing you didn't get the "brush-off"..................

Yeah I would go with the "ATA", They're really a trucker friendly group !?!

well here it is, just slightly past the 6 hour mark, and i myself haven't recieved any email regarding the "proposed" new blood pressure rulings...

but when i do get a response, i will paste it here..

oh yeah, i am a member of the OOIDA, so you see, even we member's gotta wait too..........
