Hi, I am a truck driver with minor unverifyable experience. I graduated from a driving school about a year and a half ago. I am looking for OTR, however i have had a felony 11years ago and a speeding violation a year ago. Does anyone know of any trucking companies willing to take me on?

Put in your apps. 11 years ago is a long time. Speeding shouldn't be that big a problem.

Also depends on how major of a speeding violation, I'm talking 15-20 mph over the posted limit...Alot of companies don't want more than 2-3 moving violations in the previous 3 years of the date you apply. I'd say your O.K. with a felony over 11 years old, but some places will not hire with any felony convictions at all. Going into a starting company you should be fine, check out Werner, C.R. England, CRST, Schneider, or Swift, one of 'em would bring you on, you will have to do a refresher course though due to the gap in getting your CDL...good luck
