has anyone heard of someone videotaping drivers?

Has anyone here herd of a company that works for companies and video tapes you as you are driving just to see if u are speeding or following to closely? Let me know guys, because they are out there!

At ANYTIME there can be a representative of ANY company observing their drivers on ANY road ANYWHERE.
If one is not violating any Laws, one need not be paranoid of such observers.
If you think or believe you're being Videotaped, simply apply a wave or gesture.

You got that right. I was getting checked in at one of my stops this morning and the next thing I know one of our safety guys was standing next to me. He was on his way to Ohio and saw the truck and decided to stop in and say "hi". Ya, right.

I have seen the video tapes of a few drivers, i didn't see a problem with them, but apparently this company i work for is so cheap that they want to pay some fat**& to go around catching people, so they can take your yearly safety bonus away! Now get this, if someone merges onto the highway and the truck doesnt move, that is called following to close lol, and as far as they know the jakes are being used instead of brakes at the wheels, this is dirty and when i seen it, I got so mad because this company just installed qualcomm and that isn't enough! Also to find out .. I am glad that I seen the tapes though because i am taking my video tape to work with me, and will tape cars and send that in to the fat safety guy!!!

Not every Safety person is a Guy as some are Women that may or not have been Guys.
WHEN the other vehicle can merge at all IF there is room TO MERGE, otherwise they'll end up in the breakdown lane if there is one, or they can firmly apply THEIR brakes. It IS NOT my responsibility to provide space for people that cannot or will not LEARN TO DRIVE.
When some 1/2(or less) wit pulls their vehicle in front of me in an attempt to merge and fails as they do to speed up, it IS NOT following too close to me as I'm wondering what to do: ram them or slow down. IF some company rep takes a picture or tapes the event and later approaches me, I would tell them the same thing and hopefully they were the one in the car or truck that couldn't merge into traffic which would validate their inefficiency as a safety operative.
