Who will hire me with a felony

I have two felony convictions on my record. One from 1991 and another in 2002. I live in North Carolina and recently graduated from JCC truck driving school. Although both charges are violent in nature I'm not a violent person. Where can I find an opportunity to show and prove? Will anyone give me a shot to prove myself.

All the employer is going to see is that the courts say you are violent. That can translate into road rage or beating up someone while employed. You might get a driving job with a jippo local outfit but none of the big boys will hire felons with a history of violence. Sorry but that's just how it is.

I personally know of a few companies that would have no problem with that. I know of cases of drivers busted on assault,theft,drug possession etc. while on the job and kept their job. But this doesn't help our prospective driver here. These outfits require at least 2 years experience to help defray their already high insurance costs.

you'll have a hard time , but some people don't care they just want someone in a seat, you will be running because they know how hard it will be for you to get up and leave , everybody want's 10 year history, so you'll have to tell that story over and over and that's the way it will be for a long time. good luck

The school should be your stepping stone.
They should help you in finding placement.
