Default For those of you who carry/use a Comdata card or use Comchecks...heads up.

I just wanted to let you guys know as of Nov 3rd you will no longer be speaking to an American person on the phone if you ever have a need to call for a Express check or card authorization number. Comdata as of Wednesday Sept 3rd notified their employees of the El Paso Texas office that they would be laid off and outsourced to workers in the Philippines.
I havent seen much posted about this anywhere else, so i figured id giv eyou guys a heads up. And if you ask...the admins can verify where my IP address comes from ;)

When dealing with "foreign" phone help centres, you can keep asking for supervisors. Generally, their comprehension is better, and their ability to speak English is better.

Also, it is a pain in their ***** to keep all the supervisors tied up.

well in this case if you ask long enough you may get someone in Brentwood....

As far as they have told the associates anything revolving around a card or check auth is over seas, the exception right now is if you own the account or if something needs to be escalated...and even then there is no telling for how much longer, isnt outsourcing great?
The next time to speak to someone on the phone make sure to ask em about the outsourcing, so you know im not BSing.
